Data traveling via the wireless network is inherently insecure. When using the wireless network, try not to share any private information, especially credit card information. If private information is sent over the wireless network, be sure that it is encrypted via the website using SSL encryption. A padlock icon is typically displayed in the bottom-right corner of the web browser to denote the session is secure. Cameron University will not be held liable for personal information that traverses the wireless and/or wired network.
