Legacy of Excellence

Cameron University's ability to provide students with the finest academic experience available rests largely on the strength of our faculty. For decades, Cameron has been home to faculty members who have demonstrated a well-established and extraordinary record of achievement in student support, engaged learning, and service to their academic field, the university, and the community.

The Campaign

It is with great pride and excitement that we introduce to you our 2019 Legacy of Excellence honorees.

The Dr. Elizabeth Ann Nalley Endowed Lectureship in Undergraduate Research & The Dr. Elizabeth Ann Nalley Endowed Scholarship in Chemistry

Dr. Ann Nalley, a member of Cameron University chemistry faculty since 1969, has taught chemistry to thousands of students. Because of her extraordinary mentorship, many students have gone on to achieve excellence in their own right. As a way of paying tribute to such a remarkable legacy, we are asking you to help us to establish the following endowments: The Dr. Elizabeth Ann Nalley Endowed Lectureship in Undergraduate Research & The Dr. Elizabeth Ann Nalley Endowed Scholarship in Chemistry

The Tony Allison Endowed Lectureship in Communication & The Tony Allison Endowed Scholarship in Communication

Mr. Tony Allison earned countless accolades during his 40-year tenure. However, Tony would agree that his proudest achievement is the impact he has had on countless students like you. As a way of paying tribute to such a remarkable legacy, we are asking you to help us ensure his contributions continue to impact student learning for generations to come. Through your generosity, we will establish the following endowments: The Tony Allison Endowed Lectureship in Communication & The Tony Allison Endowed Scholarship in Communication

They will join the many other esteemed faculty members who have been honored through the creation of endowments.

For each honoree, we are seeking to establish an endowed scholarship with a minimum of $10,000 and an endowed lectureship at a minimum of $25,000. We fully appreciate that we can only accomplish this mission with your generous support.

Involvement in this campaign is a tangible way for you to show your appreciation and support for decades of preparing thousands of students for life beyond the classroom.

Please JOIN US in our quest to perpetually honor the Legacy of two of Cameron's most treasured faculty members.

The endowments in Dr. Nalley's and Mr. Allison's names will be established through the Cameron University Foundation Inc., a 501 (c) 3 organization, which means 100% of your donation will qualify for a tax deduction
