Annual Beef Cattle Improvement Conference

Held on campus each year on the Thursday evening one week before Thanksgiving, the Beef Cattle Improvement Conference celebrated its 32nd anniversary in 2019. Each year a speaker is invited to campus to present information on a topic that will be of interest to ranchers and farmers engaged in the beef cattle industry. Since this is one of the largest industries in Southwest Oklahoma this event also supports Cameron University’s strategic plan of strengthening the economic, cultural, and civic life of the Cameron university service area, through increasing student and employee engagement with regional stakeholders. This event is free and open to the public and includes a catered dinner.
