Associate in Science in Allied Health Sciences
The Allied Health Sciences major is designed to meet the needs of students who are preparing to apply to associate and baccalaureate degree programs in fields such as nursing, occupational and physical therapy, medical imaging, radiation sciences, and nutritional sciences. The degree was designed to be flexible in order to meet the diverse sets of prerequisite courses required for admission to these professional fields. Cameron’s faculty work closely with several nursing programs in the southwest Oklahoma region, including those offered by the OU College of Nursing in Lawton, OK, the OKHU Kramer School of Nursing in Duncan, OK, and the associate degree program at Western Oklahoma State College with nursing campuses in Altus and Lawton, OK.
