Graduating from Texas Tech University with a Masters in Mathematics in 2016, Christopher Sauer joined Cameron's Faculty in the Fall of 2017 as an instructor in the Mathematical Sciences Department. Christopher teaches Introduction to Statistics, College Algebra, Survey of Mathematics, and Elementary Calculus.

Christopher has always found the study of mathematics to be fascinating, and he enjoys sharing his passion for it with his students especially when students tell him that being in his class is the first time they enjoyed taking a math course. Christopher's goal in every course is to encourage students to be comfortable making mistakes and learning from them, and he hopes that they apply a little bit of that comfort to their own life. After all, it is only through identifying our weaknesses that we can become strong.

When Christopher is not teaching a class or preparing lectures, he likes to work on software projects, play board games, read sci-fi/fantasy novels, and go on walks at the Aggie Rec Center or Aggie Mile. If you see him walking, don't hesitate to introduce yourself. Christopher always likes meeting new people and learning about their lives.
