New Student Orientation

Out of respect for the health and safety of our prospective students, their families and friends, and the community, Cameron University has suspended the in-person Orientation program and moved it to an online format.

The next step in your process for becoming a Cameron student is to meet with an advisor and advisor to discuss major and career plans and to develop and enroll in a Fall schedule. If you would like to make an appointment to advise and enroll, please contact the Academic Advising Center on the Lawton campus at 580-581-6741 or CU-Duncan advising at 580-581-5950 for students attending the Duncan Campus.

Once you have completed your enrollment, you will begin receiving communications regarding online Orientation and your continued transition to Cameron University.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Office of Campus Life at 580-581-2217 or via e-mail at campuslife@cameron.edu.

Welcome to Cameron University!

We're excited to welcome you to campus this spring/summer. New Student Orientation is required for all First-Time Full-Time freshmen who have graduated or will graduate from High School in the previous 2 academic years and have not previously attended another University. If you do not meet these qualifications, you may be attending an alternative orientation program. That information will be sent to you via e-mail.

During your orientation session you can expect to learn how to access CU technology including Aggie Access, Blackboard, and your student e-mail. You'll meet upperclassmen and CU faculty and staff who will be happy to answer your questions. You'll learn about how to get involved on campus, how you can live on-campus, and more. At the end of the day you will meet with an Academic Advisor to enroll for the fall semester.
