Q: What are the credit hour requirements?
A: The credit hour requirements are as follows:

Freshman

Maintain Full Time status - minimum of 12 hours or more each fall and spring; 6 each summer
* 15 credit hours encouraged to graduate on time
Up to 18 credit hours each semester

Junior/Transfer

Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours each academic year including fall, spring, summer
Maintain Full Time status = minimum 12 hours or more each fall and spring
15 credit hours encouraged to graduate on time
Up to 18 credit hours each semester

Formally known as Presidential Leaders and University Scholars, the PLUS scholarship is highly selective and competitive scholarship awarded to outstanding high school seniors and transfer students who have excelled in the areas of academics, leadership, involvement and community service. Cameron's PLUS scholarship is one of its most prestigious scholarships. It offers substantial financial support, and guides students through an intensive leadership development program aimed at shaping tomorrow's leaders.
