What We Offer
The Student Wellness Center is staffed by a Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner under the supervision of a Physician for quality health care service. Professionals who will strive to provide all of the services one would get from their own hometown healthcare provider in a supportive, friendly and understanding environment. Who are very knowledgeable about what it takes to be a successful healthy college student. We offer acute care (minor injuries and illnesses) to currently enrolled Cameron University students. The medical services include but are not limited to the following:
Medical Services
- Physicals - ROTC, Athletic, Dance
- UA's
- Glucose/Cholesterol/Blood Pressure screening
- Strep Tests
- Flu Tests
- Safe Sex Program
- ADHD Clinics
- Community Referrals with CU student discounts such as Prescription Medicines, Lab Work, Ongoing medical care, Vision and Dental
We are conveniently located on campus in North Shelper Rm 101 across from Admissions.
Eligibility
Cameron University students who are enrolled in at least one class meeting on the CU-Lawton campus and paid the Wellness Center Fee are eligible for personal counseling and acute medical care. There is no further cost for services provided in the center. Unfortunately, OU & Western nursing students, concurrent, online only and Duncan campus students are not eligible.
