The Office of Student Development offers services, programs and activities designed to enhance the collegiate experience and to foster both academic excellence and personal growth. Inclusion and Student Success offers programs to increase diversity and inclusion initiatives on campus that are vital to our campus and community.
We offer comprehensive workshops, programs and training opportunities for diversity, inclusion and equity, student engagement, student success, as well as global learning, cultural understanding, and professional development. Our office and the Cameron University Diversity Diplomats seek to foster equity, innovation and increase competencies among students in order to cultivate an inclusive and progressive university.
Examples of programs sponsored and supported by the office include, but are not limited to the Diversity Celebration, Mixing with Teas Cultural Ceremony, Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, MLK Celebrations, CU Succeed Workshops, Inclusion and Leadership Summit, Snacks and Chats Series, Disability Awareness Event and much more!
