Education students at Cameron University accepted into Kappa Delta Pi education honor society


Nineteen Cameron University education students have been accepted into the Upsilon Xi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education. Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi requires high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession. Only those who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity in service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and its allied professions are granted membership.


Cameron University students from Duncan, Elgin join Pi Mu Epsilon, honor society of mathematics


The Cameron University Department of Mathematical Sciences is pleased to announce the acceptance of two new members into the university’s chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon (PME). PME is dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and recognition of students who successfully pursue mathematical understanding. Cameron's chapter, the third to be established in Oklahoma, was founded in 1979.

Business workshops slated for Cameron University’s Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies


Cameron University’s Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) is partnering with the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center (OKSBDC) and Great Plains Technology Center (GPTC) for a series of GrowthWheel business workshops aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs. The series will kick off with The GrowthWheel – Business Concept on Tuesday, March 31, at 3 p.m. in Room 109 at CETES on the Cameron campus. Cameron University to present Sixth Annual Inclusion and Leadership Summit


How do you turn a disability into a strength? When you’re Vince Morvillo, a highly successful business consultant and entrepreneur and the first blind person to win the prestigious National Ensign Sailing championship, you substitute vision for sight. Morvillo will present the keynote address at Cameron University’s sixth annual Inclusion and Leadership Summit, a one-day conference that aims to provide education and awareness about the importance of inclusion and diversity. The event, which takes place on Friday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the McMahon Centennial Complex, is open to the public at no charge.
