THE BOARD OF REGENTS


FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA, CAMERON UNIVERSITY, AND ROGERS STATE UNIVERSITY

The official governing body of Cameron University is the Board of Regents for the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University, which is composed of seven citizens appointed by the Governor of Oklahoma with the advice and consent of the Oklahoma Senate. Each Regent serves a seven-year term.

The chairman of the Board of Regents for 2019-2020 is Leslie J. Rainbolt, M.D. M.B.A., of Oklahoma City. The vice-chairman is Oklahoma City businessman C. Renzi Stone. Other Regents are Gary Pierson of Oklahoma City, Tulsa businessman Phil B. Albert, former Oklahoma governor Frank Keating, Natalie Shirley of Oklahoma City, and Eric Stevenson of Westerville, Ohio.

The Board of Regents also governs the University of Oklahoma in Norman and Rogers State University in Claremore.

Chris A. Purcell, Ph.D., is the Executive Secretary for the Board of Regents and serves as Vice President for University Governance. Anil V. Gollahalli is Vice President and General Counsel to the Board of Regents.
