Carpentry Shop

The Carpentry Shop maintains, services, repairs, and secures all the University buildings and exterior resources regarding structure, aesthetics, and functionality. The Carpentry shop also prepares and maintains University facilities for University sponsored and/ or approved event. Staffed with skilled craftsmen, some of the Carpentry Shop work includes:

  • Alteration of existing facilities
  • Construction of walls and partitions
  • Paneling
  • Hanging doors and windows
  • Repairing furniture
  • Installation of ceramic and vinyl tile
  • Repairing of building roofs and flashing
  • Masonry work
  • All forms of concrete work including sidewalks, foundations, bridges, and parking lots
  • Welding
  • Cabinet and bookshelf construction
  • All forms of exterior and interior painting and staining
  • Drywall installation, plastering, and wall texturing
  • Installation and repairing of ceilings
  • Trim and finish carpentry work


If your department needs a repair by the Carpenter Shop, you may turn in a Work Order.
