AGGIE REC CENTER
The Aggie Rec Center promotes and encourages the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle by providing tools and opportunities to achieve each individual’s personal fitness goals. We are committed to providing an active environment for social interaction, all while maintaining a friendly, safe, and positive atmosphere.
Beginning June 8, the Aggie Rec Center is open to students, faculty, and staff with an active Cameron ID following summer hours. In order to keep all patrons safe and keep the facility clean, we are taking the following precautions:
- Only the following areas of the facility are open: pool for lap swimming only, Cardio Machines, Strength Training/Weight Machines,and Walking track.
- All hard surfaces are being cleaned and disinfected every 15 minutes
- Limited number of patrons in the facility
- Limited number of patrons in each area of the facility
- Showers are unavailable
- Lockers are not be available for overnight usage
- No equipment is be able to be checked out
- Water fountains are only available for water-bottle filling
- Patrons are encourage to wear a mask while in the facility
The Aggie Rec Center will also abide by social distancing guidelines and has been thoroughly cleaned in anticipation for this reopening.
